After issuing releases under the moniker Dark Colour, a shared performance in 2014 brought singer-songwriter Randall Rigdon Jr with UC colleagues Coleman Williams and Joseph Sparough. In 2015, Dark Colour released their first singles as a band, receiving airplay across the world. 2016 sees Dark Colour releasing their debut EP Animal with Montreal-based Kitabu Music, recorded with Jacob Merrit and Isaac Karns of the Pomegranates.
