David Galas (born 1970 in Tempe, Arizona) is an American musician best known as a member of pioneering dark wave band Lycia, which he joined in 1994 for the albums The Burning Circle and Then Dust, Cold, and Empty Spaces. He began a solo career in the 2000s, releasing The Cataclysm (2006) and several later albums, with his 2025 album The Nihilist released via These Hands Melt. His solo material blends goth club and post-punk elements with the atmospheric dark wave sound of his work with Lycia.
