Faith & Disease is an American ethereal wave band formed in Seattle in 1991 by vocalist Dara Rosenwasser and guitarist Eric Cooley. Their sound blends reverbed guitar, cello, flute, and piano beneath lilting female vocals, drawing frequent comparisons to early 4AD acts like Cocteau Twins and Dead Can Dance. The band released their debut album "Beauty and Bitterness" in 1994 and has continued releasing music through Projekt Records.
