Front Line Assembly is a Canadian electro-industrial and EBM band formed in Vancouver in 1986 by Bill Leeb after he left Skinny Puppy. Alongside longtime collaborator Rhys Fulber, the duo became one of the genre's defining acts with releases like Caustic Grip and Tactical Neural Implant. Their dark, beat-driven electronic body music helped shape the industrial and EBM scenes of the late 1980s and 1990s alongside contemporaries Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb.
