New Skin is a London-based darkwave and gothic band formed in 2004 by vocalist Jen and guitarist Gil, who bonded over a shared love of music in a north London pub. Their debut album "nothing but up from here" appeared in 2003, followed by the self-titled album "New Skin" in 2006, released on Cleopatra Records. The band is known for blending darkwave, gothic rock, and alternative sounds with female vocals, appearing on compilations such as "100 Gothic and Industrial for Vampires and Halloween" and "The Dark Box".
