Shadows Veil is a Portuguese musical project born in 2023 from the minds of Walter Teixeira and João Pinheiro, based in Lisbon. The duo delves into the melancholic and obscure sounds of post-punk, gothic rock, and darkwave, creating an immersive and intriguing musical universe. In April 2024 they released their well-received self-titled debut EP featuring the tracks "Fantasy", "Crusader", "Hurt" and "Don't You Ever Speak". In August 2024 they returned with the two-track single "Dying Star" / "This Could Be Us", described by the specialist press as a melodic, vibrant and moody take on the darkwave sound, well-balanced between synthetic and organic elements.
