About
There are 4 bands called the Mess: 1) The Mess is a French girl band who took part in season 5 of French reality television series Popstars in 2013 on French channel D8 winning the final on 2 July 2013 against eventual runner-up, the electro pop-rock duo Oslo made up of Eugénie and Vincent. The 3-member jury made up of La Fouine, Alexia Laroche-Joubert and Philippe Gandhilon opted for The Mess made up of Megan, Léa, Chéraze and Kendy. The group was awarded a record deal that includes at least a debut single and a studio album. The debut single of the winning formation was “Au top” written by Maître Gims and Renaud Rebillaud. It entered the French SNEP official singles chart at number 34 the week following the finale. 2) From the ashes of Novice and Conway rose a unique blend of electronica and hard rock known as The Mess. Honest, open and always sentimental, The Mess have a knack for connecting with the listener in a way few have done before. The band's debut full length, "Songs for Healing," is expected in April of 2009. 3) Side project for Dramarama in 1992 http://powerpopcriminals.blogspot.com/2008/08/mess-mess-1992-recorded-summerfall-1991.html 4) A hardcore punk band from the 1980's.
