Wartburgs Für Walter was a post-punk band from East Berlin, formed in September 1987 during the final years of the German Democratic Republic. The band featured Ina Pallas on vocals, Bernd Hennig on guitar, Jörn Schulz on bass, and Dirk Scholz on drums. Their sound was a unique blend of post-punk and deathrock reminiscent of American acts of the era. They recorded one demo in 1987 and disbanded in July 1989; their complete works were compiled and released on vinyl in 2016 by Sick Suck Records.
