Bio

fraqsea is aya, the guitarist and singer in Shelling, from Tokyo, Japan. This solo project covers genres including electronic, ambient, and art pop. She released several CD-R EPs via High Fader Records before releasing the album Majoram on September 18, 2013 through Chihei Hatakeyama's White Paddy Mountain. Hatakeyama produced, mixed, and mastered the album while also providing guitar and drone on a few tracks. fraqsea's second album Star Cocktail was released on January 17, 2016 through PROGRESSIVE FOrM.
