light motiv is a dream-pop and indie rock project from İzmir, Turkey, founded in 2019 by Sarp Öztürk, who handles all production, recording, and mixing. The project blends hazy guitars, ethereal atmospheres, and elements borrowed from shoegaze and slacker rock. Releases include the debut Fluid EP (2019), DIORAMAS (2021, TAMAR RECORDS), KOY (2024, SHALGAM RECORDS), and the bossa nova-influenced EP Geçen Günler Düşen Yapraklar Gibi (2025).
